Jimmy Cartwright has lived in Claygate since 1961.He has served on the Claygate Parish Council since it was formed and in 2004 was Chairman for a year.
He is a Councillor on the Elmbridge Borough Council and is a member of three of their committees. He is a Trustee of the Claygate Village Hall.
He worked for 30 years in sales and administration and on taking early retirement became the Clerk to the Governors for a West Molesey school. He has been involved in Table Tennis for many years and is a member of Esher Bowls club.
