[T4] Wellingtonia, agree to removal of dead wood.
[T1] Pear Tree, this tree does not have a TPO and is not in the Conservation Area so the work does no need permission. Due and careful consideration should be given to this tree as it is visible from the conservation area.
Withdrawn
6.4 2008/1513 & 1514 – 17 Claremont Road, new detached 2 storey dwelling with detached Garage
We are objecting to this application as no significant changes have been made since the previous application 2008/0970. This application is out of character and out of keeping due to its dominance and height to the surrounding buildings. We also object to the monolithic style of a single block, which is out of keeping with the neighbouring Edwardian style houses having multi faceted fascias and multiple pitched roofs as their design character. No demolition to existing to be allowed until planning permission for a replacement is agreed. As and when an application is approved, the client and their contractors must adhere to the recommendations in the arboreal report to protect the horse chestnut.
Applications from weekly list 27
Nothing for Claygate
Applications from weekly list 28
6.5 2008/1570 – The Cottage Hillview Road, 2 detached houses, plt1 with an attached garage and plot2 with a detached garage following the demolition of existing house.
Recommendations, are that all trees surrounding the ponds should be considered for group TPOs.
[T30] Ash tree at front of plot 2 needs protection during the works to site. We applaud the proposed tree planting to the front of the site.
Otherwise no comment.
Officer to check 45 degree rule an overlooking with neighbour at no. 17, otherwise no comment.
