Commentary: As it is usually does, the ‘weather machine’ has evened things up after a lengthy dry spell. As much rain fell in five days last week as did throughout the complete three months of May, June and July! Now we just need to see the return of worthwhile sunshine, after perhaps the dullest spell on period for this time of year over the last eight weeks.
The weather will certainly be quite different this week: dry virtually throughout (with a slight doubt about next weekend), and we will see more of the sun than recently, though there may still be cloudier interludes. It will also turn somewhat warmer. Very disturbed weather does look like returning after next weekend.
